Bigelow Hollow State Park - Union, CT
Exploring just a few of the great trails in Bigelow Hollow State Park in Union Connecticut. Images are from the Ridge Trail (blue & orange) which runs along a beautiful swamp and ends up at the northerly tip of Breakneck Pond.
The return trip ran along the Breakneck Pond View Trail (blue w/white dot). The total trip was about 7 miles and took about 5 hours with many stops for picture taking and lunch. The blue and white blazes are accompanied by red & blue which is a bit confusing if you are unfamiliar with the area.
