Bafflin Sanctuary in Pomfret, CT is adjacent to the Connecticut Audubon Society Center at Pomfret..  The nature reserve consists of 702 acres with over 10 miles of walking trails.  The well maintained easy walking trails also connect with the nearby Air Line Trail which runs from Thompson to East Hampton.   Images are from a mid-day walk though Bafflin's rolling fields and woodland.   The property can be accessed from Day Road or Route 169 just off of Route 101.
