Mashamoquet Meadow Wildflowers - Pomfret, CT
Mashamoquet Meadow in Pomfret, CT is a great location for a casual walk. The fields are managed by the Connecticut Audubon Society for optimum wildlife conditions with maintained grass walking trails. Wildlife sightings will vary depending upon the season and time of day but there is always plenty to see. Images from this particular day were captured along the Mashamoquet Meadow Trail which is part of a larger trail network running through the 700 acre Bafflin Sanctuary.
