KILLINGLY, CT - It's a sure sign that fall is approaching when the summer songbirds vanish, their voices no longer present on cool August mornings. The sweet morning melodies sung by the Indigo Bunting, Scarlet Tanager, Wood Thrush and Baltimore Oriole are now replaced by the familiar Chickadee and Tufted Titmouse. It's sad to see them go but there is plenty to see and hear if you're looking around. This week's selection includes Great Blue Heron, Common Yellowthroat, American Redstart, Northern Flicker and a juvenile Rose-breasted Grosbeak.
